The project for the development of five apartments in the municipality of Pinzolo returns to the town its second oldest building, after the Church of San Lorenzo, restoring it to a renewed vitality. The intervention preserves the building’s historical identity, reinterpreting the architectural language of its context through a sensitive contemporary approach.
The residential units, essential in their composition, are defined by a quiet attention to detail. White plastered surfaces receive and reflect light, while the wood of the window frames—both internal and external—and the bespoke furnishings establish a material continuity with the natural fir flooring, shaping warm and harmonious interiors.
Natural light becomes a central design element: it flows through the spaces thanks to dual aspects and newly introduced skylights, gliding across surfaces and revealing their material and chromatic qualities, creating a subtle balance between matter, light, and dwelling.
