The Bitter End is a design project for a beer shop in Verona, dedicated to a curated selection of niche craft labels from both Italy and abroad.
The space is conceived as an essential yet striking environment, where materials drawn from the technical and industrial world define an authentic, contemporary aesthetic.
The layout revolves around a large central table, intended as a place for sharing and tasting. Above it, a system of lights and neon signs creates a vibrant atmosphere that, in the evening hours, becomes a scenic presence visible from the street, contributing to the character of the nighttime urban landscape.
The name The Bitter End, inspired by the Placebo song, becomes a statement of intent: a toast to bitter endings, instinctive choices, and a ’90s Brit rock imagination. A project that celebrates the last glass as a moment of synthesis, where taste, memory, and identity converge.
